DevOps Engineer
San Antonio, Onsite 3/2 Hybrid Schedule
Comp: up to $120K

Our client, a leading midstream energy company, has partnered with CFS to find top talent for their team. Specializing in the transportation, storage, and marketing of crude oil, natural gas liquids, and refined products, they also provide comprehensive water management solutions for the oil and gas industry. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance their software development and deployment processes. This role will focus on automation, scalability, and reliability to streamline collaboration between development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient code integration and deployment.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred) while implementing security best practices.
Set up monitoring tools to improve system performance and reliability.
Work cross-functionally, provide training, and document DevOps processes.

Qualifications
Experience with automation, scripting (Python, Shell, Java, or TypeScript), and CI/CD tools.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with version control (Git, Bitbucket) and monitoring solutions.
Database technologies (RDS, Dynamo, PostGres, SQL Server)

Education & Experience
3+ years of DevOps or IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes) preferred.
